Artists who make CCA their home…
Donna Berger (Studio 3)
Donna is an artist-in-resident at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts, where she produces people and pet portrait commissions, landscape paintings, illustrations, sketches, drawings, and graphic design projects. When painting portraits, her children’s book story-telling experience has influenced her to include something personal and special to the portrait subject, such as a toy, jewelry, or other meaningful objects.
Trina Teele (Studio 2)
“My subject matter evolves. I have been known as “the sunflower lady” after painting many sunflowers and other close ups of flowers. I’ve also painted large still lifes of wine bottle and glasses with colorful reflections. I have spent the past 3 years exploring seascapes using (new to me) water soluble oil paints. I am always attracted to unexpected colors and look for a rhythm in the shapes. I also practice my art using an iPad to sketch and create digital prints of what I see in front of me day to day. Visit my blog, website and print website for more information.
