There are a number of organizations that are involved with CCA:
All residents of Chelmsford, Massachusetts and its surrounding communities who have an interest in the arts and crafts are invited to become members of the Chelmsford Art Society. Membership is open to any person who produces art or craftwork or has an active interest in the arts and crafts. The CAS meetings are the last Wednesday of the month at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts, September through June. The CAS sponsors the 4th of July Art Show at the CCA which is a highlight of the Town of Chelmsford’s 4th of July Celebrations.
All the World’s a Stage Players is a nonprofit educational program offering young people, especially homeschoolers, an opportunity to learn about Shakespeare and perform in full-length productions of Shakespeare’s plays. Participants are ages 7 to 17. Our goal is to foster an appreciation for Shakespeare by giving young people a chance to participate in all areas of production of a Shakespeare play. Director Leslie McLeod-Warrick, together with her capable production team, has over 6 years’ experience in directing and producing Shakespeare plays with young actors.
An educational nonprofit dedicated to creating LGBTQIA+-inclusive arts activities that explore the works of William Shakespeare.
The Chelmsford Community Band is an adult volunteer band that was founded in 1972. The band rehearses at the CCA and performs at various venues, including on the Town Common during the summer.
