March 7th: Quartetmania with Vintage Vocal Quartet and the Fireside Quartet

7:30 pm Tickets $20 General Admission and $5 Students HERE or at the CCA

It only takes four to put a nickel in a premodern jukebox of sweet vocal harmony.  The Vintage Vocal Quartet brings the big band era to life by singing while swinging on piano, guitar, bass and trumpet.

The group’s repertoire is inspired by groups like Glenn Miller’s Modernaires, the Nat King Cole Trio, the Andrews Sisters, and Tommy Dorsey’s Pied Pipers, as well as singers like Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and Jo Stafford.

The VVQ has been delighting concert audiences, lindy hoppers, and swanky private events all over New England. They have performed with the Boston Pops, the Melrose Symphony and the Cape Symphony as well as the Capitol City Jazz Orchestra. If you love vocal harmony and swing music, the Vintage Vocal Quartet has your number!

Fireside Quartet

The evening opens with the Fireside Quartet. The Fireside Quartet consists of four good friends who sing together to share the joy of four-part, a cappella harmony with others as well as with ourselves.  We are a registered quartet with the Barbershop Harmony Society.  In 2017 we were honored to win the 33rd Annual Boston Regional Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival, where we also won the Audience Favorite award and our lead David Adams won the Best Male Soloist Award.  Further information on the quartet and our CD, From the Hearth, is provided on our website at
